Art Therapist and Art Psychotherapist are protected professional titles - like Nurse or M.D.

Art therapy clients may have a wide range of difficulties, disabilities or diagnoses. 

Individual sessions , groups, parent and child or sibling art therapy is available.     

Your therapist has extensive experience working with adult and child patients in addition to supervising fellow art therapist practitioners.

Sally is a state registered Art Therapist with a postgraduate masters degree in Art Therapy and is a member of the British Association of Art Therapists (BAAT).  She is  registered with the Health Professions Council (Registration Number AS13612).

Sally is also a member of Art Therapy Practice Research Network (ATPRN)   and linked in with current evidence based practice. She uses both generic and specialist mental health skills, and has a specialist area of knowledge in Autistic Spectrum1.  Disorders. Having worked in the NHS as an Art Therapist, Sally has experience of helping children, adolescents, adults and families, people with learning disabilities with art therapy.

1. “BAAT (020 7686 4216; www.baat.org) members practice within a Code of Ethics & the HPC (www.hpc-uk.org) has a public register and operates a complaints procedure for clients.” Registration is renewed yearly & is dependent on evidence of CPD (continuing professional development) which includes regular Clinical Supervision.
